NY ROPS (rollover protective structure) Rebate Program Funds Restored for 2011 - June 2, 2011

Funding has been restored to the NY ROPS Rebate Program by the NY State Legislature (Agriculture Committee) for the coming year. This life saving program provides a rebate of 70% for the purchase and installation of a ROPS (rollbar, rollbar with canopy or cab) on your tractor up to a maximum rebate of $765. Over 900 NY farmers have retrofitted their tractors through this program since 2006. ROPS must be certified in order to qualify for the rebate. One rebate per year is allowed.
