Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of confidential functions to support the Department Manager and Administration Staff. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative, secretarial and clerical duties. The Administrative Assistant understands and follows the organization’s policies, procedures and standards. The Administrative Assistant participates in the department’s performance improvement plan and attends select committee meetings for proper recording/follow up of activities.
Education
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Administrative Assistant Training or AAS Degree
Experience
- Preferred: min. two years of departmental administrative assistant experience
Pay Range: $20.29 – 30.44 per hour

Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator
Remote, Long Island
The Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator (ASE) is an English/Spanish speaking person responsible for implementing occupational health education and safety programs for the agricultural community. The ASE will also actively participate in trade shows and outreach events, and will work with the agricultural community, legislators, educators, researchers and Bassett Healthcare Network staff to support the mission of NYCAMH.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s (four-year) degree
- Experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Preferred: Master’s degree in agriculture or educational field
Experience
- Required: two years’ experience in agriculture or related field
- Preferred: working knowledge of farm machinery and practices
Pay Range: $25.23 – 37.85 per hour
