Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator (Remote, Long Island)

The Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator (ASE) is an English/Spanish speaking person responsible for implementing occupational health education and safety programs for the agricultural community. The ASE will also actively participate in trade shows and outreach events, and will work with the agricultural community, legislators, educators, researchers and Bassett Healthcare Network staff to support the mission of NYCAMH.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s (four-year) degree
    •  Experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in agriculture or educational field

Experience

  • Required: two years’ experience in agriculture or related field
  • Preferred: working knowledge of farm machinery and practices

Pay Range: $25.23 – 37.85 per hour

Coordinator Ops Healthworks Marketing

The Coordinator Ops Healthworks Marketing organizes functions of the HealthWorks Occupational Health Services program with internal/external customers. Expedites communications and contracts with company principals in its eight-county service area, matching customer needs with available resources. Oversees marketing, sales & customer support assuring contracted services are delivered with the highest standards of quality. Works closely with BHN Clinics to assure same of services delivered regionally. Coordinates all financial and statistical aspects of the business of HealthWorks. Prepares all contracts and billing statements and works closely with HealthWorks Supervisor in analyzing markets and developing business strategies. Works closely with HealthWorks’ Medical Director in his role as Medical Review Officer for Federal DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing, maintaining national certification to act as MRO Assistant and completing all processing and documentation. Expert in all areas of Drug & Alcohol Testing regulations & procedures, acting as Network Trainer. Provides clinical services (EKGs, UDS and breath alcohol collection, vitals, vision screening, fit testing, etc.) at on- and off-site clinics.

Education

  • Preferred: Associate Degree or two years of higher education in business or related field

Experience

  • Required: minimum five years incrementally responsible administrative support positions (including financial responsibilities) in fast-paced office/clinic environments

Pay Range: $20.29 – 30.44 per hour
