Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator

The Bilingual Agricultural Safety Educator (ASE) is an English/Spanish speaking person responsible for implementing occupational health education and safety programs for the agricultural community. Education and training efforts will include but are not limited to providing: on farm safety audits, agricultural safety trainings on all types of agricultural hazards, curriculum translation, Basic First Aid and CPR trainings and consultations with farm owners and managers. The ASE serves as a technical consultant for occupational safety issues in the agricultural industry, writes educational articles for numerous agricultural publications, and assists in the development of new curriculum. The ASE will also actively participate in trade shows and outreach events and will support the sale of personal protective equipment (PPE) and installation of power take off (PTO) Shielding. The ASE will work with the agricultural community, legislators, educators, researchers and Bassett Healthcare Network staff to support the mission of NYCAMH.

Data Analyst

Under supervision from the Center Manager of the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH), the NYCAMH Data Analyst leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols to ensure the integrity of NYCAMH’s data; designs and manages multiple database projects, programs, and platforms; provides data analytic and visualization services; and collaborates with the IT department staff to manage NYCAMH’s computers and software. The Data Analyst will work with a wide range of customers, including but not limited to PhD level investigators, Research Coordinators, Project Coordinators, Group Supervisors, and Physicians.

Education Outreach Coordinator

The Outreach Education Coordinator plays a key role in operationalizing NYCAMH's outreach strategy by coordinating programs, managing logistics, and ensuring timely communication and data tracking across multiple initiatives. This position works closely with the Outreach/Education Supervisor, the education core team, and other programs coordinators to support program delivery, improve efficiency, and contribute to program growth. This position reports directly to the Outreach/Education Supervisor. Additional duties may include driving Bassett's vehicles (van/autos) as needed.

Occupational Health Services Technician I

The Occupational Health Services Technician I supports the occupational health services program (HealthWorks service delivery and firefighter/EMS evaluations) through interdisciplinary teamwork, in accordance with established protocols. Under the direction of the NYCAMH Medical Director and general supervision of the HealthWorks Supervisor and NYCAMH Manager, this position contributes to the maintenance of healthy and safe workers. Provides clinical services to employees, firefighters and EMS personnel needed to address occupational health concerns. Provides a variety of occupational health services for regional businesses and fire departments. Assures the quality of off-site health screening services for work sites and other community sites. Collects and maintains confidential reports and files and provides data requested by the Manager, NYCAMH Ag Group and NYCAMH Director. Applies proven educational techniques to provide counseling and to communicate health risks in a culturally sensitive manner for health screening participants.
