NYSDERA's Disaster Relief Program - October 26, 2011

NYSERDA's disaster relief program for NY farmers affected by Hurricane Irene and/or Tropical Storm Lee is offering NY farmers financial assistance. NYSERDA's financial assistance will cover 100% of eligible project costs, up to $100,000. This is an excellent opportunity to not only assist in immediate recovery efforts, but to improve farm energy efficiency and long term viability.  EnSave is very proud to be working with NYSERDA to administer this Program.

The basic eligibility requirements are this; the applicant farmer must:

• Be located in a declared disaster area (listed by county in the Summary)
• Have sustained damage as a result of either Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee
• Pay into the System Benefit Charge, or SBC
• Incorporate energy efficient technology and/or equipment in the rebuild
